On Saturday, we made plans to go to the Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Factory for a tour. Unfortunately when we got in the van to leave, we noticed we had a flat tire. So we sent the kids with everyone else and me and Craig (and Katelyn) headed elsewhere to get our tire fixed.
I heard the tour was pretty short and sweet. But looking good in those hats!
Enjoying the samples!
And the kids got a chocolate letter corresponding to the first letter of their name.
Can't go wrong with that!
We then made our way to the St. Louis Arch. Sadly, the whole field was torn up and under construction and it was near 100 degrees so we didn't get any super nice pictures outside of the arch. But the kids were super excited about getting to go up inside the arch this time.
We piled into 2 small elevator pods. It is a 4 min ride up to the top and a 3 min ride down.
At the top of the arch we looked out the small windows at the views below.
Ride up the Saint Louis Arch checked off the bucket list.
After the arch, the boys and Kristi headed over the Busch Stadium to watch
the Cardinals play the Dodgers.
It was pretty hot out there, but once the sun set behind the stadium it was a little more enjoyable!
The cardinals lost but I'm not really sure if anyone really cared either way. I think they just enjoyed the opportunity to go to a pro baseball game.
And while they were at the game, Andrea and I took the little ones back to the hotel to go swimming.
A fun time for all!!
