I ran next to them as they rode their bikes for 3 miles. Definitely a good workout for me trying to keep up the pace so they wouldn't get bored!
For FHE one week we drew a family member's name out of a bowl and were suppose to do secret service for that person during the week. Austin chose Craig and one day cleaned his car both inside and outside. Brooklyn decided to clean her car too!

For the Wee-Serve club this month, we went through our crayon bucket and picked out all the broken or dull ones and donated them to The Crayon Initiative who takes the crayons and melts them down to turn into 'new' crayons. The new crayons are then donated to local hospitals for the kids who are staying there.
When Sariah was in town for Grandma's week, we had a girls night out!
We ate dinner at Pei Wei and then watched the movie "Me Before You."
Bowling Fun
Family Dinner at Jeff & Andrea's house followed by a corn hole tournament.
The final game was me and Kristi vs. Austin and Brian.
And the girls were victorious! Never underestimate!!
Meanwhile the little ones enjoyed some outside playing!
That girl sticks anything and everything in her mouth!
Austin participated in an indoor soccer league over the summer coached by Craig. They ended up playing kids that were up to 2 years older than they were. Because of that we didn't win any games but the kids were good sports and hopefully being challenged this summer will make Fall soccer seem a little easier!
Took Craig to lunch at Burger King and Katelyn got her first crown!
Over the summer Mikayla and Kambria took a ballet class together.
Katelyn has been busy this month. By the end of July was standing on her own! And then she claps for herself!! She also broke through 2 top teeth!
And she discovered how to crawl up the stairs and has a fun time doing so. She attempts to come down but hasn't figured that out smoothly or safely quite yet.

After swimming at Sooner pool one day we decided to stop and climb up the bird tower.

Even though it is summer there has still been lots of soccer on the brain. Austin's competitive soccer team participated in a Raffle fundraiser to help raise money to cover tournament costs and other soccer fees for this next year. Austin sold $600 in raffle tickets!
They also did a lunch fundraiser to help raise money for the same cause. Hamburger or hotdog with chips, cookie and drink for $5. Most everything was donated so it was almost all profit!

Craig put the boys that were there to work assisting the customers. Other than cooking the hamburgers and collecting the money the boys did all the rest. He said they did a fantastic job!
Austin also participated in a Saturday soccer tournament. The team was made up of a few different birth years of players, Austin being the youngest. He played some and had a good time.Making sugar cookies together
We discovered The Rock this summer and about once a week Austin and his cousins would hang out there for a couple hours during the afternoon and then Craig would pick him up after
One of Austin's favorite things to do there was play dodge ball.
The kids have definitely kept busy with different things this summer! I don't think I ever heard the words "I'm bored even once!"
