Father's Day

I am so grateful to have such a wonderful dad who provided, taught, and helped raise 7 kids.
That is indeed no easy chore but I think he did a great job cause we all seemed to turn out pretty well. I am grateful for all he continues to do for me and my family. A few weeks ago, I was outside in the backyard with my dad, Mikayla, Brooklyn, and their cousin Bristol. They were playing on the swing set and I gave Brooklyn and Bristol some toy cars to race down the slide. Mikayla came over to join the fun but started to take over which was causing some tension. My dad must of noticed because he quickly told Mikayla to come inside with him because he had a surprise for her. They disappeared and an hour later when we went back inside I discovered they had been upstairs playing Mario Brothers on the Wii. A simple gesture by my dad but it touched my heart that he noticed the escalating tension outside, took action, and willingly gave Mikayla the 1 on 1 attention that she so craves and loves to have.
The kids had a fun time making a candy bar card for Craig for Father's Day.

I am so grateful that Craig is such a wonderful father to our children. He does a great job providing and meeting the needs of our family in every way. He is 100% involved in the details of our children’s lives and works hard each day to help make our family successful. He brings the fun, spontaneous, and adventurous spirit to our family. I hope that someday these kids will truly recognize how lucky they are to have him as their dad!
