We always get excited to celebrate the 4th of July!
The day before we had a cookout at my parents house with my sister Jessica and husband Travis that were in town. We made these fun patriotic drinks.
We played some water kickball. Each base other than home had something to do with water.

On the 4th, we headed out to Dave and Debbie's for the traditional cookout, swim, and fireworks.
Everyone was excited about the firework show.
Even Brooklyn enjoyed herself. I was worried she would be scared of the noise. She did flinch a lot from the sound but was all eyes on the sky.
I'm grateful for all the blessing and freedoms that I have from living in this great country!!
And so grateful for all those who have sacrificed so much, even their lives, to make this possible!
