Everywhere I go, I always get comments on Kayla's curly hair.....most people say "I love her hair or her hair is so cute" which is often followed by "where does it come from?" I tell them it comes from both sides since both my mom and Craig's mom have curly hair.
And although having a hair full of curly hair is fun and cute....it is also a pain to brush and lately it has been getting so long and tangly making it even harder to brush. I have been afraid of cutting Kayla's hair for the fear of cutting off all her curls. But it was time.
So on Tuesday, April 3rd, I took Kayla to KidDooz to get her first haircut.
She got to sit in a red race car.
She picked Dora the Explorer to watch. Here the stylists is taking the first snip.
After taking off about 2 inches of hair, the stylist took the blowdryer to Kayla's hair which she was very curious about (notice her expression in the mirror).
Kayla's finished look. She did a GREAT job sitting still and cooperating.
She got to pick a toy out of the treasure box.
She also got a "First Haircut" certificate with an attached lock of hair.
My little girl is growing up fast.
