It's Autumn Time

Fall is definately here....jackets are in use, it is dark outside by 7 pm, I'm craving some pumpkin pie, and the leaves are turning colors and falling from the trees into our yard....hence the weekly raking of leaves. Yep, fall is definately here. Here are pics from our first raking this season.....
Austin and Klayton were pretty proud of the "big" pile of leaves they made before Craig got home.
But once Craig raked all the leaves into a big pile....the real fun began!!
Here is our leaf collage from this year. Me and Austin had a great time making one last year and so it has now become something I look forward to doing every Fall.

The kids and I went over to Sooner Park and to the Jo Allyn Lo Park looking for colorful leaves. We had a great time and the ducks were kind enough to share some feathers with us also!!

We enjoyed riding bikes and feeding the ducks. These ducks however are a little aggresive so the kids ended up standing on the table to throw the bread. I even got a few nibbles on my legs from the ducks as I was watching the kids and therefore ended up on the picnic table myself!!

The best part about this activity is that for weeks later whenever Austin notices a colorful leaf on the ground he will pick it up and say "Wow Mom...look at this one!!"
