Spring Break--Branson Day 2

The next day in Branson the boys got out early to play some Frisbee golf.
According to Craig it is a really nice course and he was excited to get to play it again.
Apparently the course takes the unclaimed Frisbee discs that are found and then sells them at a discounted rate. Austin was pretty excited about getting a new disc.
Meanwhile the rest of us had a relaxing morning at the resort.

Then we went to try out a new place called Fritz's Adventure.

They had tunnels and slides and things to explore.

The biggest attraction there was the 3 story ropes course.
Kayla and Kambria went first with their dads.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn enjoyed getting to do her own smaller scale ropes course.

Then Andrea and I went up with the boys.

It was a pretty cool place and the kids loved it!
After Fritz's we headed back to the resort to enjoy some swimming during the warmest part of the day which was probably like in the 60's. The kids were so excited about getting to go swimming. The pools were "heated" but it still felt very cold!
 But that didn't stop them!
We spent most of our time enjoying the hot tub! After a little while, Austin and Connor and their dad's decided to hit the Frisbee golf course one more time. So the rest of us stayed to swim longer.
There was a pretty cool little waterfall separating the pools. The kids made going into the cold water look so easy.
I decided to be brave and try it. It was cold!

Everyone was having a great time swimming so we stayed at the pool for quite a while.
Then we made a yummy spaghetti dinner and devoured it!
And finished up the evening with a movie!

Spring Break--Silver Dollar City

We took a trip over to Branson for a few days over Spring Break with Jeff & Andrea and family. We went to Silver Dollar City the first day.
The little ones in our family got to do a lot more rides this time.

We did hit all 4 rollercoasters while we were there. The four of us above were only ones brave enough to ride the Outlaw Run!
 FireFall ride
 Mikayla loves this ride
 And up they go!
Austin didn't do a ton of rides. I think he has more of his dad's stomach. But he was a good sport helping out his younger sisters.

Katelyn and Carter were having fun getting to do several rides themselves.

Mini version of the Firefall ride that shoots up and down. Brooklyn loved it. Katelyn not so much.
Riding the small swings is fun.
But riding the big swings is even more fun!
See if you can spot us!
The Thunderation roller coaster is always a favorite!! Especially because there is hardly ever a line!
 The swinging ship
 The air balloon ride

 Use those arm muscles girls!
 Peter Pan boat ride
I am not much for spinning rides and this one goes round in circles pretty fast so Andrea was kind enough to take Brooklyn. I was worried it might be too scary for Brooklyn but she was all smiles!
I did take the kids on the river ride. I brought ponchos but I think me and Brooklyn were the only ones who didn't want to get wet. The others decided to brave it!
We love this ride and I love Mikayla's face in this picture....she's looking a little nervous!
It was a fun and exhausting day at Silver Dollar City!
We settled into our place at Wolf Creek Lodge which was super nice.
And enjoyed some relaxing movie time after a busy fun day!
