Mikayla is quite the artist sometimes.
In regards to starting school, I think Brooklyn was most excited about riding the bus. She got her chance and came home on the bus after the first day of school. She was as happy as could be!
Katelyn and I made a trip to the zoo with friends. They were pretty entertained with the Tiger pacing back and forth right by the glass. I think the Tiger was thinking "lunch."
We threw a baby shower for Aleesha and the much anticipated arrival of baby Sofey. 
Sleepover under the stars. Girls on the trampoline and boys on cots. They made it until 5am before coming inside to a warm cozy bed.
Some much needed "girl time." So much fun and laughs when the 3 of us get together.

And in September this girl made the transition to a bed which has gone surprisingly well except that she is up before 6:30 am even on the weekends! Hard to believe this baby is no longer a baby and that there is no longer a crib in this house after 10 years of using one!
Bittersweet describes it perfectly!
