Turner Falls

 The Hyde family invited us to join them on a trip to southern Oklahoma.

On our way there we stopped and ate lunch at this fun place.

It's definitely a happy day when your eating good food with good friends

and on your way to have some family fun!!

Then we spent a few hours at the Chickasaw National Recreational Area, specifically at this place called Little Niagara.

And we all took turns jumping off into the freezing cold water!

Even little Brooklyn was brave enough to make the jump holding her dad's hand.

Being outside enjoying the natural beauty of the earth has become one of my favorite things to do. The kids loved it too!

The next day we went to Turner Falls. I did a horrible job capturing our fun with pictures but the kids had a blast swimming down the river to this pool area that had a diving board and a slide.

And to my surprise Brooklyn jumped off the diving board. That little dare devil.

Austin and Mikayla loved the slide!

How fun is that?!?

Then just as we were headed to see the waterfall a thunderstorm blew in and we had to leave. I was so sad we didn't get to see it but I guess that just gives us a good reason to go back another time!
