Katelyn is quickly growing up and keeps me busy. She is a walker and probably would have better balance except she walks on her tippy toes (just like Mikayla). She is quick though and getting into everything! She moves from one thing to the next and I can hardly keep up. She pulls out the pan lids from underneath the stove and bangs them on the floor. I'm surprised one hasn't broken by now. She constantly opens up the pantry looking for anything she can reach to eat or chew on. After too many packages of broken crackers I had to move things around. She makes her way into the bathrooms and unravels the toilet paper or walks around chewing on our toothbrushes. She has figured out how to open doors so we have to make sure to keep them locked or she will escape outside. She likes being around other kids but isn't always very nice. She will nudge or push other kids her age. She will also pull hair all with a sweet look on her face.
Even though she is a stinker sometimes she is a cutie and we love her! She enjoys playing outside and her new favorite is jumping on the trampoline! She does lots of jibber-jabber but doesn't attempt to say many words. I have heard her say mom, hi, uh-oh, and Abby. She still sucks on her thumb when she is tired and takes one long afternoon nap. She is a joy to have in our family and most of the time we still call her "baby" instead of Katelyn. But as far as I'm concerned she can stay "baby" as long as we can get away with it!
