We started off the first day of June with a service project at one of the city parks. We brought trash bags and went around picking up trash. It was rather interesting some of the stuff we found.

Austin was a fast worker and in no time filled his trash bag full. The kids were all happy to help.

Now that Katelyn more mobile she is starting to discover new things. Her favorite "no no" place is the fireplace. She pulls out the rocks from the fireplace and puts them in her mouth.

One day Mikayla had an idea that she wanted to make gingerbread men. And when Mikayla gets an idea in her head it is very hard to persuade her otherwise. She is persistent. So we found a recipe. She said "make sure you get a recipe for gingerbread that will run away!" I can't believe that she still really thinks the gingerbread men are running away when she isn't looking at them.

When Austin was at Klayton's house they discovered 2 snakes which they wanted to keep as pets. Sorry boys, ain't going to happen. Ever.

Mikayla and her cousin Kambria started a ballet class for the summer. They are enjoying it.

Enjoyed lunch at Sushi One with these ladies celebrating a couple birthdays.
I finally gave in and even tried sushi for the first time. It wasn't too bad.

We celebrated one of the best father's ever on Father's Day!!!
These kids are really blessed to have such a great dad!

Mikayla came with me one morning as my running buddy at the pathfinder. She rode her bike along beside me while I did a 3 mile run. She did a good job.

Katelyn loves to swing. And is now clapping!

And fell asleep in the highchair for the first time. Still sucks on that thumb!

Mikayla and Kambria were invited by their aunt Kristi for a sleepover. They were excited! They had pizza for dinner, went mini-golfing, and ate snacks/candy while they watched the movie Zootopia. They were very spoiled! Mikayla is already asking when they can do it again!

The tooth fairy made some visits to our house this month. Both Mikayla and Austin lost a tooth. The last time Mikayla lost a tooth the tooth fairy didn't come until the following day while we were at church. We told Mikayla "she must of thought you were going to try to catch her last night." So this time Mikayla did not put her tooth under her pillow but next to her pillow saying "I don't want the tooth fairy to wake me up because then she might think I am trying to catch her again."

And while Austin and Mikayla have one less tooth is their mouths, Katelyn has gained one!
That makes 3 bottom teeth for her!
