Bastings Buzz Picture

3 months old

The biggest changes that came from Katelyn from 2 months to 3 months is how much more alert and aware she is of her surroundings. She smiles all the time now and even does some small "coos".
And when she smiles at me it sometimes just feels like it is baby Austin smiling at me all over again.

Katelyn has found her thumb. She uses it quite often to soothe herself when she is getting hungry or to soothe herself to sleep. Not sure it will last but for now it is working for her.
Katelyn never showed much signs of turning over until one day I laid her on the floor and she started doing this. She hasn't figured it out all the way yet but she is working on it.
She is still a good sleeper and at 3 months is sleeping through the night till about 5 or 6 am. She is however still sleeping in her bouncer. Since she was spitting up so much the first week or two after she was born we started sleeping her in the bouncer so she wouldn't choke. So she has learned to sleep that way for the last couple months.....a habit that I am going to work on changing. Funny how with the first baby, I was much more worried about doing everything "right" and by the book. But after each baby I have become more relaxed and now whatever works for her and for our family at the time becomes the "right" thing to do.
