In order to save money, I decided that we would avoid checking in baggage and just use carry- ons. And since Austin was a paying customer that meant we could have 3 pull suitcases plus a diaper bag, a portable DVD player, and a backpack. Austin actually had fun pulling his suitcase through the Tulsa airport which was good because I packed his backpack to heavy with books and toys. I am sure we were a funny site walking through the airport with all that luggage not to mention carrying Mikayla, blanket, and coats. And the funnest part was unloading everything including suitcase, shoes, coats, and hygiene items into the bins to get scanned and then unloading and putting it all back on. So much fun!! The airport quickly became my workout for the day. But we survived and the kids were great on the plane!!! Craig sat with Austin and entertained him with toys, movies, and snacks. Mikayla on my lap was entertained mostly with food, a few toys, and napping. I was so worried that she would drive the people around us crazy but she was great!!! (of course, the tsp of Benadryl did help a litte :) As we were flying, Austin looked out the window and blurted out "we're gonna crash!!" which was quickly corrected by Craig. I hope nobody around us was nervous about flying.

I'm Leaving On A Jet Plane
We have been telling Austin for weeks now that he was going to fly on an airplane and finally the day was here. He was pretty excited. As soon as we arrived at the airport he was ready to fly......little did he know how much waiting was involved.
