THE BASTINGS BUZZ: July 4th Weekend

We had a great July 4th weekend and were glad that Mike, Sara, and kids were able to come up and enjoy it with us!! Here are a few highlights of the weekend and lots of pictures (I really did try to be selective but there were so many cute pics).

Top Ten 4th of July Moments

1. Yummy breakfast omlets made by Mike filled with bacon, sausage, veggies, and lots of cheese!!

2. Austin having fun playing with all his cousins!!

3. Taking all the kiddos to the Kiddy Park--lots of fun!!

I went with Austin and after the 3rd round when it was over and time to get out he suprisingly said "more more".

4. Watching little kids squirt each other with water-guns---after the big kids (Craig, his dad and his brothers) were finished squirting each other.

5. Grilling out and eating lots of good food!!

6. Swimming and relaxing in Papa Dave's pool (when you weren't getting dunked by Craig).

Funny cause I think in the pic Craig is actually under the water trying to dunk Jeff.

But somehow Jeff doesn't look too worried.

7. Watching the little cousins go round and round (and round and round) in the kiddy pool.

8. Hearing the kids all yell "firework" everytime they heard a loud boom (Austin shortened it to just yelling "work!!")

9. Watching the fireworks with Austin while he gazed intensly at them (at least at the beginning).
