Osage Hills

We took an afternoon while my sister was here and went out to Osage Hills. The kids enjoyed playing on the playground then we went on a small hike to the river.

My mom filled Easter eggs and we had an egg hunt while we were out there at Osage Hills.

The kids loved having their cousins here to visit! Can't wait to see them again this summer!

Tulsa Zoo

My sister and her kids came to visit during their spring break and were here for about 5 days which was so much fun. We don't get to see them very often so the kids just love getting to hang out with their cousins. We took a day and went to the Tulsa Zoo.
This cute goat was content sitting up on the log and didn't seem to mind when we crowded around him for a picture.

The kids got a taste of the cold artic blast of wind.

This turtle had a orange shell. Austin thought that was pretty cool!
 Stopping for a picnic lunch

We hung out at the playground for quite a while

They had a fun time watching these seals swimming back and forth under the water.
And we watched the seal presentation.
We even caught the penguins at feeding time.
The kids were pretty worn out so we took the train back to the entrance.
It was a fun day at the zoo!

First Day of Spring?

On the first day of spring it reached 90 degrees! I think Oklahoma must be confused!
So we pulled out the water and had some fun.

I even had popsicles in the freezer to pull out on this first day of summer  spring!

Spring Break--Branson Day 3

Our last day in Branson, we hung around the resort and enjoyed the things we could do there. The views from the patio at our place were beautiful!

One fun thing about our place was this picture that explained there were 12 frogs hidden throughout our place to find. It didn't take long for the kids to look around and find them all!
After packing up and checking out of our room, we headed over to the lake on the resort to do some paddle boating....something we have never done before.

It didn't take long before the kids wanted to switch around passengers so we figured out we could put the boats side by side and switch around. Luckily nobody fell in the water.

It was a beautiful morning and the kids loved getting to do this!
After paddle boats, we played the mini-golf course on the resort.
After only a few holes, the girls lost interest and decided they would rather play at the park nearby.
The boys stuck it out until the end.

Mini golf with the 2 babies was kind of impossible so Craig volunteered to watch them so the rest of us could play.

The kids enjoyed some play time at the park then we had picnic style lunch before making the drive back home.

So glad that we were able to do this with Jeff & Andrea and family.
We enjoyed being able to get away from the daily routine and spend time doing fun things together!
