The Last 24 Hours

Dinner. Hurry and clean up. Don't want to be late.
Work. Be a good nurse. Stay up all night working.
Walk 5 miles and chart a novel while working.
Home. Try to get some sleep.
Thunder and rain. Ahh...I love sleeping in the rain.
Awake. Hurry. Drop off kids and go to doctor's appointment.
Home. Clean up the home. Make dinner.
Go to young womens activity.
Home. Get kids ready for bed.
Lay in bed with my son and sing him to sleep.
Rock my daughter till she drifts off to sleep.
Ahh....Quiet. Listen to music.

Peace.
Love.
Gratitude.

Ever have days like this?

This is sung and played by my very talented sister Jackie who composed an arrangement of I Feel My Savior's Love. She titled it He Loves Me. And just listening to it makes me feel so peaceful and reminds me of the love my Heavenly Father and Savior have for me.

(I actually wrote this post on wed night but couldn't figure out how to get the music on it.....but since my sister Jamie (who is obviously smarter than me) posted it to her blog today, I just copied it to mine. Thanks Jamie.....and Jackie for the beautiful music!!)

Easter Candy Today And A Tummy Ache Tommorrow!!

Well I think that we must have hit the jackpot this Easter Saturday. If this doesn't look like a ton of candy don't be fooled...it fills up two large size ziplock bags. No joke. First we went to Grandma Vicki's house to find our hidden Easter baskets. Me & Craig, Austin, and even Mikayla got a basket full of candy.
But sorry Mikayla, even though you have two bottom teeth coming in you won't get to enjoy the candy this year. So already we had one large ziplock bag full of candy. But the fun didn't stop there. Out at Papa Dave's house, Austin joined the other Bartlesville cousins for an Easter egg hunt. He caught on quick this year and soon was running around the yard picking up eggs.

Everyones easter baskets ended up pretty full of eggs.
(and another ziplock bag full of candy)
It was a nice day & next year Mikayla will get to join in on the fun!!

Easter Message

I love the first weekend of April and October when I get to listen to the words of our Prophet and the other apostles of the church. I always feel the spirit so strongly and leave feeling uplifted and motivated to do better and be better. I had many favorite talks but I really enjoyed Elder Jeffry R. Holland's talk which he "directed in a special way to those who are alone or feel alone or, worse yet, feel abandoned. In short it can include all of us at various times in our lives."

I noticed that the church clipped some of it and put it to video for an Easter Message.

Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpFhS0dAduc

A great reminder of what we truly celebrate on Easter---the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ!!

Attention All Bloggers!!!

So yesterday in the mail I received the most exciting package---it was my blog made into a book! It is awesome and such a great journal/scrapbook/family history all in one. I think it is so important to preserve special memories and photos. And I think that everone who has a blog should make it into a book. So here is the program I used: www.blurb.com
Trust me, you won't be disappointed in the least bit!!
And a BIG special thank-you to my friend Addi who gave me the idea!
